Chapter 315 - 273: You Can’t Refuse to Meet Love Just Because You’re Afraid of Parting
This family dinner was a bit peculiar.
After finishing the meal, Cleia originally intended to go home, but a well-fed Xue’Er stopped her from leaving, putting on an act like a raptor devouring its master.
Then, Lynn and the two adorable kids also persuaded her to stay. Cleia thought about it; there are many rooms here, and since most of Lynn’s wives are here, she figured it was unlikely her turn would come, so there was nothing to worry about.
So Cleia nodded in agreement, then caught the traitor Xue’Er to find herself a room in this palace.
After she left, Little Yuna and Little Yuna exchanged a glance, bid their parents goodnight, and then followed her. They planned to work on Cleia mom’s mindset overnight, hoping to hold two babies by next year.
With Cleia gone and the kids gone, only the old couples were left. Sensing things were not looking good, Catherine quickly got up to escape, locking herself in a room.
Even though this simple wooden door couldn’t stop Xue’Er, it could stop someone with a little dignity.
"Well, you guys carry on. I’m really sleepy, so I’ll go to bed first."
Natasha was already full tonight and felt embarrassed to compete with her sisters, so she walked off while yawning, seeing only a few were left.
Helena and Vivian were left exchanging glances, both too shy to speak first, so they both cast their beautiful eyes at Lynn.
Receiving the signal from his wives, Lynn pondered with his eyes closed for a moment and then tentatively spoke...
"How about, together?"
As soon as the words were out, Helena and Vivian’s cheeks visibly turned red, though their reactions were a bit different.
Helena, though blushing, remained calm and did not show any panic.
Whereas Vivian was noticeably more nervous, blushing all the way to her ears, stammering as if wanting to speak but stopping short.
"If Vivian is willing, I have no objections."
Being Lynn’s woman, such situations were bound to happen sooner or later. Even if she was the noble Empress of the Celestial Destiny Empire, that status seemed to only add some interest in Lynn’s eyes.
Though she originally thought her first time cooperating with her sisters would be with Natasha, since they were close knight partners and best friends.
She didn’t expect the moment would come with the shyest of them all, Vivian, who was a noblewoman of the Celestial Destiny Empire and technically her subordinate.
Serving her man together with her female subordinate — thinking about it, it’s quite interesting.
"Uh, um... I, I..."
Upon hearing Helena agree so openly, Vivian hesitated for a long time without saying anything.
She didn’t particularly object, just felt it was too embarrassing.
"Well, how about we split? Helena in the first half, Vivian in the second half?"
Though the soft-spoken, trembling girl hadn’t uttered a complete sentence, Lynn could see she was quite troubled.
Despite his frivolous nature, he valued his wives; since she was unwilling, he wouldn’t force her for his own pleasure.
"Mmm... okay, okay!"
Hearing this, Vivian seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, nodding repeatedly, indicating that this arrangement was acceptable.
Helena appeared indifferent, willing to accept such matters. After all, there were many emperors in the Celestial Destiny Empire who were even more playful than Lynn.
Spoiling two concubines at once was already considered restrained and decent.
Having settled everything, Vivian obediently found a room to hide initially, after showering fragrant and sweet, she sat by the bed waiting quietly for Lynn and Helena to finish.
However, she ended up waiting for most of the night, eventually falling asleep in bed.
When she opened her eyes again and saw the bright sunlight streaming in through the window, Vivian wondered if she had overslept.
"You’re awake? Did you sleep well?"
Just then, a strong arm reached over her back, gently embracing her, accompanied by a soft voice in her ear.
"Um... sorry, I seem to have overslept."
Hearing Lynn’s familiar voice next to her, Vivian turned over to face him, looking at his doting eyes, she murmured shyly.
"There’s nothing to apologize for; I should be the one apologizing. Making you wait too long last night, luckily you fell asleep on your own; it would have been really unfair to keep you waiting all night otherwise."
With Vivian so obediently turning to face him, Lynn of course leaned in to playfully nip her nose, then wrapped her tightly in his arms.
Having such a sweet, soft, and lovely wife was such a blessing. Vivian was completely different from Helena, who had been entangled with him all night; she never fought or contested, always waiting quietly, making one’s heart melt.
Of course, it’s not that Helena’s ardor was a bad thing; after becoming Empress, she too had her difficulties, having such a large Empire to inherit. Without trying a few more times, how could she bear the Crown Prince?
